Northeast apple growers are invited to attend a free webinar hosted by Farm Credit East and Horizon Farm Credit on Thursday, April 16 at 12:00 noon. This webinar will provide a recap of the Northeast apple industry in 2025, as well as economic projections for the year ahead.

A successful manager is required to master many aspects of the farm business. To help the next generation develop the necessary business and financial skills, Farm Credit East is hosting GenerationNext seminars this fall and winter. Anyone who would like to sharpen their management skills is encouraged to attend. Both in-person and virtual sessions are offered.

The Farm Credit East Cares Community Fund announced today it will donate $100,000 to organizations assisting producers recovering from July’s heavy rains and devastating flooding. Recipients of these funds include the Vermont Community Foundation and the Massachusetts Farm Resiliency Fund.

Farm Credit East was pleased to host 12 college students with career aspirations in production agriculture, agribusiness, accounting, finance, communications or related fields as part of its annual summer internship program. The internship program is offered to college juniors each summer.
