Apply for a Farm Credit East Higher Education Scholarship by March 19

Farm Credit East, a member-owned lending and financial services cooperative, is currently accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors and college students with career aspirations in agriculture, commercial fishing and the forest products industries from across the association’s eight-state territory. Applications are due by March 19.

Farm Credit East Provides Scholarships to Future Agriculture Leaders

In conjunction with National FFA Week (February 18-25), Farm Credit East is pleased to announce the awarding of eight scholarships to students involved in The National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization to support their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). The scholarship recipients had strong projects and expressed a clear understanding of their projects’ impacts on their future careers in agriculturally related fields.

Farm Credit East Provides Scholarships to Support Agricultural Education

Farm Credit East recently awarded $40,000 in scholarships to support 20 Northeast educators’ attendance at Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE) institutes this summer. CASE institutes provide educators with training and resources to teach courses in the CASE curriculum to high school students.
