Farm Credit East, a member-owned lending and financial services cooperative, is currently accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors and college students with career aspirations in agriculture, commercial fishing and the forest products industries from across the association’s eight-state territory. Farm Credit East Contributes $100,000 to Northeast Food Security Initiatives

Farm Credit East recently announced it contributed $100,000 to Northeast food security initiatives as part of the Food Access Infrastructure Initiative. The Urban Agriculture Cooperative, based in Newark, New Jersey, and the Burlington Food Pantry, located in Burlington, Maine, each received $50,000 to improve infrastructure and help mitigate food insecurity.
