Farm Credit East, a customer-owned cooperative lender and financial services provider, has announced the results of its recent director elections and board reorganization meeting. The 18-member board represents the diversity of Northeast agriculture and forest products.

Farm Credit East was pleased to announce two winners of the third annual Lipinski Rural Initiatives award at this year's Annual Meeting. This award aims to recognize innovative and transformational efforts to revitalize Northeast rural communities. Each recipient was awarded $25,000.

Challenges in milk marketing are not new. Farm Credit East Knowledge Exchange recently took a fresh look at milk transportation, specifically in the Northeast U.S., and released its findings in a new report titled, “Challenges in Northeast Milk Transportation.”
