The Farm Credit Northeast AgEnhancement Program, a joint effort of Farm Credit East and CoBank, recently provided $115,804 in grant funding to 18 organizations to assist their efforts to encourage youth leadership development, support young and beginning farmer initiatives, promote diversity, equity and inclusion, and advance northeast agriculture, forestry and commercial fishing.

Northeast oyster growers are invited to participate in a free Farm Credit East webinar taking place on Tuesday, March 3 at 12:00 noon. Bob Rheault of East Coast Shellfish Growers Association will provide an outlook on oyster farming approaches, challenges and markets.

Farm Credit East is now accepting new participants to its Winery Benchmarks program, a valuable financial benchmarking program for winery and cidery businesses. The deadline to sign up is April 1, 2026.
