Farm Credit East expresses its sorrow and concern for all of those affected by Hurricane Irene. Farmers throughout major sections of the Northeast, including parts of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, have experienced significant damage to crops, livestock, barns, roads and other structures.
"Farm Credit East has followed the reports of damage from Hurricane Irene with great concern in recent days” says Farm Credit East CEO Bill Lipinski. “We are saddened by the business losses and personal tragedy suffered by many of our customers. Our entire team stands ready to assist customers in any way we can."
Crop Growers customers that may have been affected by Hurricane Irene are encouraged to call their agent or our Customer Service Center at 1-800-234-7012 to submit a notice of damage.
