This summer Farm Credit East hosted 16 bright students for our summer internship program in six marketplaces across the association. The interns worked on a variety of projects as well as spend time out on the farm touring and job shadowing. Immersing themselves in many aspects of Northeast agriculture.

As a relationship lender, connecting with our customers and our communities is at the heart of everything we do. It’s those relationships that we’ve had with customer businesses for generations that have allowed Farm Credit East to be successful for more than 100 years. CEO Mike Reynolds reiterates the importance of these connections in today's blog.

Throughout the month of Thanksgiving, several Farm Credit East employees from across the association reflected on what it was they were thankful for in 2024 and beyond. 

For the last 10 weeks, 17 interns across eight offices interned at Farm Credit East working on a number of different projects. I worked out of the Enfield, Conn., office where I went on farm tours, shadowed employees, worked on my focused summer project, and so much more!
