This summer, Farm Credit East welcomed 16 interns to the team. Our interns always leave a lasting impact through the meaningful work they complete and relationships they build with fellow staff and customers. With summer coming to a close and internships winding down, Jean Gallagher asked three interns to reflect on their summer experience.
Farm Credit East offers a 12-week, paid summer internship program where students can learn about our company and gain insight into the type of career they’d like to pursue. We recently interviewed some Farm Credit East employees who began their Farm Credit career as an intern to find out what they enjoyed most about their experience and what led them to choose us to begin their career. Kendra Stewart is a tax associate in our Geneva, NY branch office. She is one of Farm Credit East’s (many) rock star teammates who is early in her career. Kendra joined our team after graduating from Clarkson University in 2015 and has covered a lot of ground in just two years.
