The Farm Credit System today reported that combined net income decreased 1.4% to $1.78 billion and 1.7% to $3.51 billion for the three and six months ended June 30, 2023, as compared with net income of $1.81 billion and $3.57 billion for the same periods of the prior year.

Farm Credit East recently hosted a green industry outlook featuring Dr. Charlie Hall of Texas A&M University. Dr. Hall presented an overview of the general U.S. economy, talked about consumer trends and gave an overall forecast for the coming year's nursery, greenhouse and landscape sectors. This free webinar was held on Wednesday, March 18.
