Michael brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as a business consultant. Mike began his Farm Credit career over 35 years ago as a loan officer where he worked with a variety of operations in South Central Pennsylvania. His passion for the dairy industry served him well as a dairy lending specialist and co-leader of the dairy lending team. For the past 20 years, he has served as a business consultant within the Farm Credit system and works with a diversified portfolio of businesses. He leverages Farm Credit’s financial and lending expertise to support business transfer and estate planning. His diverse background enables him to identify opportunities, develop strategies and collaborate across teams for a comprehensive approach to financial success. 

A Pennsylvania State University graduate with a BS in agricultural business management, Mike provides sound strategic planning assistance allowing agricultural business to focus on daily operations.

Personal

Mike grew up in Central Pennsylvania, and has a background in swine, beef and dairy. His involvement in 4-H and the family farm sparked a passion for the agricultural industry. He has served on numerous boards including the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association and the Center for Dairy Excellence. Mike resides in the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania area. He has two adult children and enjoys making hay to support he and his wife, Cinnamon's, love for horses.
