Meet Philip
Born and raised in Erie County, Pennsylvania, Phil has had a long-standing career in agriculture. He has held diverse roles throughout his career, including dairy farm management, dairy nutrition, and serving as a crop extension agent. Additionally, he’s worked with the Michigan State University (MSU) TelFarm program, an educational service and farm financial record-keeping system provided by MSU Extension. He joined Farm Credit as a tax specialist in 2013 and eventually became a business consultant primarily working with farmers in Western Pennsylvania.
Phil has over 45 years of experience in the industry. From working with farm families and businesses owners through many financial cycles, he provides his clients with valuable insights. His multi-faceted experience helps him relate to many types of farm operations and situations, helping clients sustain and grow successful businesses.
He has earned a bachelor's degree in dairy production from Penn State and a masters in ag economics at Michigan State.
