Farm Credit East Presents 2024 Grain and Oilseed Outlook Webinar

Overhead

The grain and oilseed sector had surprising 2023 results after a seemingly poor growing season. What will this mean for producer margins in 2024? Join Farm Credit East and Dr. Robert Maltsbarger of the Food and Policy Research Institute (FAPRI) at the University of Missouri, on Tuesday, April 9, at 12 p.m. for a free webinar that will review variables affecting the upcoming cropping season.

Dr. Robert Maltsbarger’s presentation will dive into FAPRI’s 2024 baseline. With U.S. farmers facing increasing export competition in a declining price environment, FAPRI’s 2024 baseline provides an outlook for U.S. crops, livestock and farm income this year.

This webinar is part of Farm Credit East’s Insights and Perspectives series, which includes webinars and outlook papers for the diverse sectors of Northeast agriculture and forest products.
