Meet Heather
Heather is a business consultant helping farmers grow their businesses and realize their dreams. She holds an MS from Virginia Tech in Ag Economics and a BS in dairy science. Heather also has experience in international development, serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador and teaching financial literacy with the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer program. Before joining Farm Credit, Heather taught farm business management for Penn State Extension. Since joining Farm Credit in 2016, Heather has worked with diverse farm businesses first in Pennsylvania and now in New England and New York. Her role at Farm Credit started as a loan officer and then transitioned to a consultant. Heather completed the rigorous Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification process in 2025, documenting her wide-ranging knowledge of business, family dynamics, financial analysis, investments and income taxes.

Personal
Heather lives in N.H. She enjoys trips to various parts of the world as a form of recreation and learning. Heather has supported agricultural education in several ways, including leadership in 4-H and serving on the board of North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge.
