What’s new with OSHA and the New York State Dept. of Labor

On Wednesday, March 22 Farm Credit East Hosted a webinar sponsored by the Northeast Dairy Producers Association about OSHA’s new approach during enforcement inspections and New York States’ free consultation services specifically for dairy farms. Panelist reviewed the most frequently identified hazards found during NYS Consultation visits, how to correct them and avoid making the list of most frequently cited regulations during OSHA dairy farm inspections. Dairy farm associations and cooperatives provided brief updates on the latest issues affecting the industry as well as what’s on the horizon.
