Farm Credit Connect: Your Digital Portal

Over the past several years, Farm Credit East has been implementing a long-term strategy to enhance personal relationships with digital solutions to optimize customers’ time with our team. In some ways, this is a change to how we have historically done business, but the end goal is to provide customers with quicker access to their information, more productive time with their Farm Credit East team, and an overall positive experience working with Farm Credit East.

Farm Credit Connect is a key part of this strategy. Launched in late 2022, this digital experience portal provides customers with access to their information when and where they want it. It provides access to:

  • Self-service monetary capabilities, including reviewing account balances and loan statements, disbursing funds, and making payments
  • Secure communication with their Farm Credit East team, including submission of payroll hours
  • Ability to securely exchange important documents, such as tax documents and annual returns

Throughout 2023, we have continued to enhance Farm Credit Connect with features that make it even easier for you to identify your Farm Credit East team and exchange information in a secure environment. As we head into 2024, Farm Credit Connect will continue to be the dashboard for your Farm Credit East relationship.

Annual Balance Sheets

As we prepare for year-end reporting, customers will be asked to complete their balance sheets electronically via Farm Credit Connect. For existing Farm Credit Connect users, be on the lookout for a notification in January.

Submitting your financial information online enables our team to maximize our in-person time together and focus on your strategy, versus collecting data. Additionally, you will have secure access to your information throughout the year for quick reference when needed.

Tax Returns

All tax returns will be delivered electronically via Farm Credit Connect this year. Hard copies of tax returns will be available for a fee of $25.

You can also submit your tax documents via this customer portal. This is the fastest, most secure way to exchange your tax documents with our team.

Return more cooperative value

Embracing Farm Credit East’s technology supports your relationship team in our ongoing effort to deliver high value financial services to your business and remain at the forefront of a competitive credit environment.

In an organization of our size, standard processes like printing, processing, and delivering monthly billing statements and annual reports by mail; FedExing payroll checks and tax returns; and processing payments and mailing checks costs the cooperative several hundred thousand dollars per year.

Digital tools aim to minimize those costs without negatively impacting the customer experience. And that cost savings can ultimately be returned to the customer as patronage dividends.
