Cow Calf Production and the Freezer Trade
The Tilley family has transitioned from a dairy to multi-species livestock farm, selling meat directly to consumers at farmer’s markets and retail shops. The farm focuses on grass-fed Red Devon Cattle, as well as poultry and pork production. Steve Hadcock, Beginning Farmer and Market Development Educator and staff from New York State Agriculture and Markets will also be in attendance to discuss the New York State Cattle Health Assurance Program.
