Annual Meeting

Due to concerns related to the coronavirus, Farm Credit East's 2021 Annual Meeting was held virtually on Monday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. Customers were invited to participate by webinar or telephone. 

2021 Director Candidates

This meeting kicked off with a director candidate forum to provide members the opportunity to learn more about the highly qualified candidates running for the Farm Credit East Board in 2021. Following, attendees received reports from the Board, management and nominating committee; elected next year’s nominating committee; and approved the slate of 2021 director candidates. Attendees also viewed a 10-minute video featuring a segment with each director candidate at their operation informing members about  why they'd like to be elected to the Farm Credit East Board of Directors. The meeting concluded with the announcement of the winners of the inaugural Lipinski Rural Initiatives AwardLetchworth Gateway Villages, located in New York's Genesee Valley, and Three River Farmers Alliance, located in New Hampshire's Seacoast Region. Both recipients were awarded $25,000 to continue their work to enhance their surrounding rural communities.  View the video to hear from the recipients of this year's award.
