Farm Credit East has announced its awarding of 16 scholarships to students involved in The National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization to support their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). The scholarship recipients had strong projects and expressed a clear understanding of their projects’ impacts on their future careers in agriculturally related fields.

Farm Credit East has released an updated report to help Northeast producers identify grants and incentives. There are a number of funding opportunities available to assist Northeast agriculture businesses, but learning about their availability and navigating the application process can be a challenge. This report provides federal, regional and state grants, loan guarantees, and other incentives available to assist Northeast producers of all types and sizes. 

In conjunction with National Farmers Market Week, Farm Credit East is announcing its recent awarding of $92,000 in small grants to 175 farmers markets and farmers market organizations across the Northeast.

In honor of National Intern Day being celebrated on July 30, Farm Credit East recognizes the 16 college students the financial cooperative hosted this summer. With career aspirations in production agriculture, agribusiness, accounting, finance, communications or related fields, their efforts will leave a lasting impact on the association.
