Farm Credit East, a member-owned lending and financial services cooperative, is currently accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors and college students with career aspirations in agriculture, commercial fishing and the forest products industries from across the association’s eight-state territory. Applications are due by March 19.

Farm Credit East recently announced it contributed $200,000 to Northeast food security initiatives as part of the Food Access Infrastructure Initiative. Four organizations each received $50,000 to improve infrastructure and help mitigate food insecurity. 

Farm Credit East is pleased to have provided $95,000 in donations to Northeast organizations recommended by customer owners. 19 organizations were selected to receive a $5,000 donation to support their ongoing efforts to enhance the well-being of individuals and communities in the Northeast. 

Farm Credit East and Horizon Farm Credit will be hosting CoBank’s Corey Geiger for Farm Credit East’s annual dairy outlook webinar on Thursday, January 29 at 12:00 p.m. This webinar is free to attend for all interested dairy producers.
