Northeast green industry growers are invited to participate in a free Farm Credit East webinar taking place on Monday, February 23 at 12:00 noon. This webinar will provide economic projections for the coming year for the green industry, including nursery, landscaping and greenhouse industries. 

Farm Credit East, ACA, the Northeast’s largest agricultural lending cooperative, announced its distribution of $145 million in cash patronage dividends to 12,500 farm, fishing and forestry business owners and operators across the Northeast. 

Farm Credit East, a member-owned lending and financial services cooperative, is currently accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors and college students with career aspirations in agriculture, commercial fishing and the forest products industries from across the association’s eight-state territory. Applications are due by March 19.

Farm Credit East recently announced it contributed $200,000 to Northeast food security initiatives as part of the Food Access Infrastructure Initiative. Four organizations each received $50,000 to improve infrastructure and help mitigate food insecurity.
